Public schools in Linden have been forced to shelter in place after being targeted for threats over an erroneous post about the Charlie Kirk assassination, officials announced Thursday, Sept. 11.
The firestorm began after numerous posts showed a video of a woman, believed to be a second-grade teacher in Linden, celebrating Kirk's death, Linden police said. The information is incorrect, Linden police stressed.

A weed deal turned into a stickup in Maryland — and two men are now behind bars after cops say they robbed a man at gunpoint, stole his product, and forced him to send them money over a payment app for their troubles.
